Job Description

The project buyer is responsible for the implementation and reporting of his/her parts packages starting from the handover of the nominated supplier until three months after the start of production (SOP), within the defined cost / invest targets defined by management.
 
General:
·     Assure process consistency  requirements
·     Representation of Purchasing in internal meetings, presentations and Pilot Halls
·     Timely and accurate maintenance of Purchasing systems and databases 
·     Resolution of Purchasing-related problems with other functions  thorough purchasing processes and procedures
·     Performs other Purchasing tasks as required

2 -3 years at OEM or related field 


Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree
·       Experience in automotive industry
·       Knowledge of manufacturing processes
·       Knowledge of cost breakdowns, cost drivers
·       Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Excel
·       Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
·       Effective communication at all levels internal and with outside vendors/suppliers
·       Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Experience with long-range, time-critical projects
