Job Description


Salary Base: 300K to 800K Plus Bonus



Minority Executive Search is seeking a sales leader focusing on all customers in a vertical market of Life Sciences/Healthcare to build, shape and grow this part of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing the adoption of web services. This role will build and lead a team of sales resources supported by a virtual team of experts, and will engage in the highly complex yet rewarding work of enhancing our strategy to grow adoption of cloud computing in this space. It will also be responsible for developing opportunity pipelines, evangelizing cloud computing and driving revenue and user adoption with high levels of autonomy. This role will communicate at the C-suite as well as with software developers, partners and IT architects. He/she will also be responsible for working with the company public policy team to help shape emerging public policies around the use of cloud computing, and working with the web services partner team to develop a robust partner ecosystem. In particular, he/she will:

  •      Ensure customer satisfaction
  •      Develop account strategies and coverage model
  •      Lead team to identify, develop and work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
  •      Drive revenue and market share, meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  •      Develop and execute against a set of goals including customer references, support, training
  •      Ensure organization is well trained to deliver

Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed marketing and sales engagements    

BA/BS in Computer Science, business or related field

MBA a plus

The ideal candidate will possess both a sales background that enables them to drive an engagement as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. He/she should also be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about sales, business, product, and technical challenges with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work across the organization to build consensus.
