Our client is expanding there wholesale distribution group to include dedicated IMO/BGA wholesalers. You will become part of a team focused on adding new BGA relationships, onboarding new agents to sell our annuity products, and helping execute the growth plan in this channel. We are seeking an experienced external annuity wholesaler to join our Distribution Group as a Regional Director to cover the IMO/BGA channel. This position is responsible for generating effective activity and sales with assigned annuity BGAs. The role reports to the VP Business Development and is a key liaison in the field. The Regional Director will partner with the National Account Manager to establish and execute a business plan that will enable sales success. As a result, coordination of the key responsibilities below and communication between assigned firms and management is important. Your responsibilities include: 1.Develop and maintain a high level of annuity sales production through the execution of a detailed business plan including training, motivating, and developing successful working relationships within the BGA channel. 2.Support and advocate for corporate objectives in the field; act as a steward of company resources assigned to you; and be a leader within the Annuity Distribution group. 3.Execute senior wholesaling functions in assigned geographic territories and/or firm assignments; cultivate a successful business to attain activity and sales goals with top producers in your distribution channel; maintain and communicate when necessary on competitor sales and strategy knowledge; attend annual conferences and regional meetings to support your firms. 4.Coordinate and execute a regional business plan with AVP-National Account Manager and VP, Business Development; adhere to required activity requirements aligning within territory management strategy that includes utilizing the contact management system effectively. 5.Partner with National Account Manager to collaborate and assist in prospecting new BGAs and individual agents; to enhance advisor experience with the company while building the wholesaler's acumen and experience; and to help solve customer/advisor issues and assisting in refining processes when escalated. 6.Meet and exceed the assigned territories annuity sales goals. Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree required 5+ years of experience in annuity wholesale distribution. Previous external sales experience is required. Proven track record of developing sales results in assigned territory. Proven communication, presentation, and sales skills; ability to use technology effectively; and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. Experience in BGA annuity distribution channel is optimal. State Life and Variable License and Client Series 6 and 63 required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
