This leader will manage a team of engineers to implement processes at specific plants in locations including but not limited to Connecticut, Texas and Taiwan as well as approved suppliers and partners. Travel will be required to support multiple business units as well as customers, vendors, and manufacturing partners. Install and maintain a series of production capable metal additive manufacturing lines including equipment that manages powered metals, binders, sintering furnaces, heat treating furnaces, polishing, deburring and cosmetic finishing processes. Implement new processes as identified by the business unit. Establish relationships with technology and process suppliers as well as the plants to ensure smooth transitions. IT System (hardware & software) and CAD (design & manufacturing) experience. Strong Program Management skills will be required. Requirements: Bachelors, Masters or PHD in Engineering or Physics. 15 years experience implementing processes into a high volume production setting. 10 years experience managing a team. Experience with Metal Injection Molding, Sintering and MIM Materials and Material Management. Extensive experience in the following areas: metal additive manufacturing, powdered metal, sintering, industry 4.0, IOT implementation, automation, process flow mapping and line set up.
