Salary Range: 350K to 500K Base Plus Bonus and Relocation

Plans, directs, and manages quality, strategy and operations.
Establishes, implements, and monitors methods and measures to ensure quality and low cost. Responsible for Setting up Quality Analytics Teams, Real Time Data, Continuous
Improvement to Quality Systems.
Responsible to urgently and effectively manage Process Quality Assurance including Quality Systems, Process Quality, and Process Quality Control Sections. To continually insure/optimize quality systems, process control, and outgoing product exceeds customer expectations.
Participate in strategic planning activities to ensure that all quality related requirements are considered when establishing strategic goals and objectives.
Participate in new product/project development to ensure quality requirements are established.
Responsible for helping to grow the business through the appropriate, results-driven application of manufacturing quality
Principles and processes.
Directs the development and implementation of standards and goals, ensuring they support the organization’s business plans.
Ensures quality customer relations through the development and implementation of processes as well as developing process
improvement methods that will deliver quality and timely products.
Facilitates and coordinates the flow of information necessary to plan and evaluate performance.
Directs all activities relative to Company quality system problems and projects through assigned staff.
Reviews data on sales, profitability, productivity, quality, finances, staffing, etc. utilizing this data to make business structure and
Assists in the evaluation of current and potential business and/or product trends.
Develops, implements, and monitors master timetable for achieving total quality initiatives.
Establishes a detailed and effective quality management infrastructure that meets the needs of the business.
This role has directors reporting to them. Approximately 9, they are all directors - 2 could be executive directors in the future.
This role has dotted line responsibility across quality for the organization. In addition to the 250+ they lead the leadership team for quality in the segments. The segment leaders are very dependent on this role.
This role has some of the highest engagement and influence with the leadership team for the organization. That comes with high visibility as well as a huge amount of accountability.
Quality Analytics - standing up new organization (work moving in from other groups) how to design structure of organization.
Value use of data and analytics to guide quality interventions put into place , are they progressive, up to speed on telematics, driving process, improvement in quality

Coordinates efforts of quality improvement teams.
Must cooperate with the Company ISM professionals in implementing the information security policies within the Company, and ensures that information is handled in compliance with the Global ISM related regulations.
Interprets, enforces and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information.
Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Four-year college degree preferably in business, management, operations, engineering, technology or quality related field required.
Minimum of twelve (12) years related Automotive, Trucking, Engine Manufacturing and Quality experience.
Emission experience and understanding is preferred.
Industry knowledge - consumer automotive has similar quality standards and in some ways is a bit ahead from commercial automotive so that would be OK. Toyota, GM, Eaton, Paccard, Pratt Whitney or Honda types of companies would have the right skills and attributes.
Background in Lean Manufacturing, Emissions Regulations and Six Sigma required.
Must have extensive leadership experience in Automotive manufacturing and quality approaches.
Familiarity of manufacturing processes found at Company’s suppliers.
Familiarity with structured problem solving using one or more of the following methods: 8D, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis.
Previous work experience in a cross-cultural, international environment preferred.
Proficiency with the computer applications appropriate to the position and assignment.
